Terms of Use — Peloz

By installing and using Peloz ("the app"), developed by The Chosen One Naturais Ltda (Brazilian company registration / CNPJ 51.286.257/0001-92), headquartered in Belo Horizonte/MG, Brazil, you agree to these terms. Please read them before continuing.
1. What Peloz does
Peloz is an adherence-tracking tool for hair treatments (minoxidil, finasteride, dutasteride and similar). It lets you log daily applications, calculates a Hair Score based on consistency, stores progress photos and sends reminders.
Peloz is not a medical device and does not replace a consultation with a dermatologist, trichologist or pharmacist. Clinical decisions about your treatment must be made with a healthcare professional.
2. Account and eligibility
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- The information you provide must be truthful and kept up to date.
- Each account is personal and non-transferable.
3. Subscription and access model
Peloz uses a paid-subscription access model (no permanent free tier and no trial). An active subscription is required to use the app.
- Two plans are available: monthly and annual. The exact price in your local currency is shown on the subscription screen and on the store listing before you confirm the purchase — that is the price that applies to you, as prices vary by country and storefront.
- Billing is handled by the App Store (iOS) or the Play Store (Android) at the time of purchase and renews automatically at the end of each cycle.
- Managing your subscription — changing plan, requesting a refund and turning off renewal — is done directly in the store where you subscribed.
- Prices may change. Any change will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
3.1. Right of withdrawal
The seller is a Brazilian entity, so under art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, purchases made outside a physical store (which includes in-app subscriptions) may be withdrawn from within 7 calendar days of purchase, for any reason. Consumer law in your own country may grant you an equal or longer cooling-off period, which we honour. To exercise this right, request a refund through the App Store/Play Store or write to contato@usepeloz.com.
4. Responsible use
By using Peloz, you agree:
- Not to use the app for illegal purposes or in ways that infringe the rights of others.
- Not to reverse-engineer, clone or redistribute the app.
- Not to post offensive, sexual or discriminatory content, or content that violates the dignity of other users (where the in-app community is active).
- To treat information shared by other users as confidential.
5. User-generated content
Photos, notes and progress data remain yours. By using the app, you grant Peloz a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content within your account — solely to deliver the product's functionality. We never use your photos in marketing without your explicit permission.
6. Limitation of liability
Peloz is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any specific treatment outcome, hair recovery, or absence of side effects. The Hair Score is a metric derived from the adherence you report — it is not a medical diagnosis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, lost profits, or the consequences of clinical decisions made on the basis of information shown in the app.
7. Closing your account
You can close your account at any time from the app's settings. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, without prior notice in cases of abuse, fraud or risk to other users.
8. Privacy
Personal data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the LGPD (Brazilian Law 13.709/2018).
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by an in-app notice. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the consumer's domicile are elected to settle any dispute, except where the law provides otherwise. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country where you reside.
